Executive Women International ® (EWI), Chattanooga's premier organization for networking and leadership development is meeting at the Walden Club on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at 5:30 p.m.

Topics of discussion will include the Academy of Leadership on Tour, March 31, 2007. Three all-day leadership training modules (Volunteer Leadership, Power of the Diverse Communicator and Power of Relationships) will be offered to the public on the UTC campus.

We will also be discussing EWI's corporate office strategic planning for the organization. In addition, there will be a special presentation by the Membership Committee with information about how to join EWI.

EWI professional development opportunities range from the comprehensive, proprietary Academy of Leadership series, an annual Leaders Summit for graduates of the Academy program, to an Online Learning Certified Professional Leaders' Program and an online resource with leadership themes, live author book chats, and skill-building Tele-seminars called the Leadership Link. Professional development is cited as the key benefit to individuals.

With more than 3,000 companies and 3,500 representatives as members EWI is the leading connection for business professionals. The Chattanooga Chapter of EWI was chartered in May 1987 and has more than 40 active member firms, including United Way.
