Executive Women International ® (EWI), Chattanooga's premier organization for networking and leadership development recently installed four new representatives.

Brenda Waddell of Baylor School, Kathy Sok of Reliable Building Solutions, Inc., Miki Ingram of Pampered Chef and Sheri Callaway of Tastefully Simple were installed at the December meeting.

Honored at the meeting were the EWI/Jean Bradford scholarship winners Enice Thompson and Sherrell Jordan. Ms. Thompson and Ms. Jordon were accompanied by UTC staff members Nate Pinkard and Cynthia Wallace. Ms. Thompson stated that she “would like to give thanks to God for working through good people to help underprivileged people…achieve their goals.” As the first in her family to graduate from college (she holds an AA degree in small business management from Chattanooga State), Ms. Thompson is working towards a BS in Entrepreneurship at UTC. Ms. Jordan, also a UTC student, gave an extemporaneous speech thanking the chapter members for their support. Not present was the scholarship winner from Chattanooga State, Marlane Buswell, who submitted a letter of gratitude to the chapter.

EWI is a nonprofit organization of leading business, service and professional companies. It is unique in that the firm is the member, as opposed to the individual. Membership is by invitation only. For more information please see ewichattanooga.org or phone Carolyn Stringer at 423-757-5641.
