EWI Nominates Denise Reed for Navigator of Entrepreneurship - press release

Executive Women International (EWI) nominated Denise Reed for the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce award for Navigator of Entrepreneurship.

The official announcement was during the Chamber After Hours hosted by EWI member firm Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union (TVFCU). Nautilus nominee, Denise Reed with The Concierge Level, LLC, was greeted at the door with a purple ribbon for her lapel at the announcement event. It was exciting to know “one of our own” was up for this prestigious nomination. Karen Hannifin with TVFCU, Cynthia Olive with the Closet Factory, and Debra Welsh of The Concierge Level, LLC were in attendance to cheer Denise as she received her nomination recognition with a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

At the Nautilus Awards banquet on October 26, 2007, and in honor of Reed's nomination a table hosted cheering EWI firm representatives Suzanne Bidek with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, Tanya English with Miller & Martin PLLC, Karen Hannifin with TVFCU, Nancy Harrison with the Law Offices of Lloyd Stanley, Mary Ellen Maycann with the Walden Club and Cynthia Olive with the Closet Factory.

Also in attendance with Reed were her mother, Diana Balli, and Debra Welsh of The Concierge Level, LLC. Other EWI firm representatives were cheering in the crowd including Melody Boggess with Derryberry Public Relations, Kelly McCoy with Citadel Broadcasting Corporation, and Mandy Senn with the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce.

Reed nominee of Navigator of Entrepreneurship award is a navigator to many of our EWI members as she serves as Vice President/President Elect for EWI. She has served on the EWI Chattanooga Chapter Board for many years and continues to do so for 2007/2008 Board.

Reed says, “Thank you to her many mentors within the EWI Chapter for their encouragement and support of The Concierge Level, LLC.” She understands how important EWI's mission is focusing on connecting businesses, career development, and community involvement. She has adopted similar business practices for her firm and will also execute that mission as she prepares for the EWI Chattanooga Chapter's presidency for the 2008-2009 term.
