The gift of life is given with the greatest gift of allundefinedorgan donation. Kelley Eblin, as donor family and EWI member firm with Republic Parking System, and Dawn Benjamin with Tennessee Donor Services will speak at the August 12, 2008, meeting of Executive Women International.

Although 90 percent of Americans say they support organ donation, only 30 percent have taken the steps to document their decision. One organ and tissue donor, after death, can save or improve as many at 50 lives. Make a difference.

Executive Women International (EWI), is an organization for connectionsundefinedpromoting member firms, careersundefinedenhancing personal and professional development, and community involvement. EWI member firms will meet at The Walden Club on Tuesday, August 12, 2008, at 5:30 pm. Visitors are welcome to attend; however, reservations must be made prior to August 8 by contacting the organization at ewichattanooga.org. The cost for dinner is $25. All employees of member firms may attend at a cost of $20.

EWI's professional development opportunities range from the comprehensive, proprietary Academy of Leadership series, an annual Leaders Summit for graduates of the Academy program, to an Online Learning Certified Professional Leaders Program and an online resource with leadership themes, live author book chats, and skill-building Tele-seminars called the Leadership Link. Professional development is cited as the key benefit to individuals.
